Common Symptoms Of Lupus -
Each Lupus patient is different and may only experience some of the following symptoms:
~Recurring Fever of more than 100 degrees F
~ Achy joints / Swollen Joints
~Arthritis
~Prolonged or extreme fatigue
~Skin Rashes, especially what is known as the butterfly shaped rash that spreads across the cheeks and nose
~Anemia
~Kidney Involvement
~Pleurisy, painful breathing especially when taking a deep breath
~Sun or light sensitivity
~Unusual loss of Hair
~Abnormal blood clotting problems
~Raynaud’s phenomenon / purpleish or pale fingers or toes from stress or the cold
~Seizures
~Ulcers in the Mouth or Nose
Any of these symptoms can range from very mild to severe. They also may not appear all the time, some of them will come and go. Other symptoms that a Lupus patient can experience include depression, dizziness, headaches, confusion and seizures. New symptoms might occur months or years after initial diagnosis and each individual may experience very different symptoms.
